HOSA Students Spreading Awareness of Breast Cancer

HOSA Students Spreading Awareness of Breast Cancer

Hello and Welcome to the ECHS Health Science program's website. If you are interested in medicine, and you desire a career in the health care field, this is the program for you.  Future doctors, nurses, dentists, dental assistants, physical therapists or medical office workers alike should get a general idea of what the medical field is all about while taking this class.  I can't wait to share my medical experience with you.

The recommendation is that students start with Health Team Relations for a basic overview of medicine in general.  This is a great place to figure out if medicine is the field for you.  HS 1 jumps directly into human anatomy and physiology and disease processes that correspond with each body system covered.  HS 2 combines the information learned in the previous two classes and takes learning to another level with some hands on skill evaluations.

Supplies needed for all classes - 3 ring binder with paper, pens, pencils, earbuds for ChromeBooks
