Student Parking

Parking on the school campus is a privilege.  All students parking on the East Carteret High School Campus must purchase a parking permit for $30. Seniors will be given first choice of parking spaces beginning on August 15.  After that, other students will be permitted to select their space.  There are a few things students should be aware of concerning this privilege.

  • All fees must be paid in order to purchase a parking ticket.
  • All spaces are numbered and students will be allowed to choose their parking space from those available.
  • Students can only park in their assigned space during school hours.
  • The decal must be displayed on the lower driver's side corner of the windshield.
  • There will be consequences for anyone who violates the parking contract.
    • 1st offense --  a $30 parking ticket. (It must be paid and a pass purchased in order to park on campus.)
    • 2nd offense -- vehicle will be towed at the owner's expense.
    • 3rd offense -- privilege will be revoked for the remainder of the school year.
  • Students should drive safely and abide by rules and regulations.
  • If students have to use another vehicle due to an emergency situation, they must report to the SRO and disclose the pertinent information.

Speak with administration or the SRO if there are any concerns!
